About Us
"I don't know if you'll remember me, but I was in your store with my husband and baby a couple of weeks ago... I'm glad that you are in Corning and that there is a store like this on Market Street. Good Job! I hope that you are very successful and that the people in Corning see the value of having your store nearby."

How can you help the environment by shopping at Simple Style?
If you live in the area shopping locally saves not only your time but gasoline, too.
Touring Corning sites such as CMog or Rockwell Museum? If you take the bus from the CMog parking lot to the Rockwell Museum we're just a short walk away so there's no need to use extra gasoline looking for a parking spot.

Buy organic. We carry organic tees in 100% cotton grown on an historic famly farm in Texas...and they're made in the USA.

Lastly, most of our clothing comes from overstocks. We've rescued apparel that department stores have pulled from their shelves, or from factory overruns. Instead of these items ending up in a landfill we give them another chance, at a much lower cost than the department stores' suggested retail prices. Since there are tons of clothing dumped in our landfills every day, this is a small step to help our environment.

What else can you do? When you clean out your closet, find a torn or seemingly unrepairable garment...think of other uses for these items before throwing them in the trash. Here are just a few:

  • Donate the items to charity.
  • Create a unique craft or some other useful item for around the house, such as a dust cloth, bib, table runner, etc.
  • Swap clothes with a friend.
